the nonsense and the lies Nr.6

The pictures are primarily inspired by sovjet-russian propaganda art (or better said: by old sovjet stamps). I got a ton of old stamps from my father. I always loved the beauty of the pics on them. One week ago i took a look at them again (i havent done that for 10 years!), and they just blew me away... Maybe that's something about my childhood - my first 10 years in lived in communistic poland, and i have not one good reminder of that time. But it's so fascinating to see those fantastic pictures, and now read and understand the senseless words on them. It's a kind of "coming to terms with the past", i guess.
As you see the texts and the objects on my pics absolutely make no sense - that's intended. I want to show that the soviet kind of propaganda is still very popular by today's politicians, just the words and the artwork changed - the nonsense and the lies behind the words are the same. I does not matter, whether the words come from the usa, the uno or north korea. It don't matter which party a "leader" belongs to - what you get are non-binding, unimportant words.
Also a great inspiration was "1984" and "animal farm" from Huxley, and... Coheed And Cambria! I listened to them all the time i was making the pics.
